Tuesday is for Touch!
We’re kicking off our first league in Oman from February 8 – March 15, running each Tuesday night on the Multipurpose Court at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex.
Who can join?
Anyone over the age of 13! This first league is open to teams and individuals, giving everyone a chance to learn more about the game and to get an opportunity to play.
This will be a social mixed league and we are not sticking to the 3 men, 3 women rule for now. We just want to get people out their playing!
What if I’ve never played?
Touch is easy to pick up. And that’s the point of this league. Whether you have some experience with rugby, have played some Touch before, or have never even picked up a ball, you’ll be fine. You can learn Touch in one game.
How does it work?
Come at 6:30 and we will help assign you to a team to play if you’re an individual. If you’re playing as part of a team, just come at the specified time and get ready to play some Touch!
Scores will be posted to the website within 24 hours and you can always check back for the latest on leaderboards and more!
Fees
Team entry – 120 OMR – Covers the full 6 weeks and any size squad
Individuals – 1.500 OMR per week
Typically, its only team entry. But as the Savills Super 6s is new to Oman, we want to get more people playing.
Payments
Currently, payment is cash only onsite. Soon the website will be ready to accept Omani Rial and we will allow credit card payments.
